The Higher Institute for Communication and Public Opinion (ISCOP) is a non-profit
Institution created by teachers, professionals and socio-economic specialists.
ISCOP organizes courses and carries out research in the field of communication and public opinion.
The Institute is Associate to the Faculty of Social Sciences of Pontifical University Saint
Thomas Aquinas in Rome “ANGELICVM”.
ISCOP publishes researches and reports, such as “On Middle Classes”, and “Dialogue on the Ethical Use of Military Forces”.

The Institute also organizes cultural events such as seminars, conventions, workshops and exhibits. In co-operation with the British Council, ANGELICVM will promote and run the November 2002 Conference “60 Years on from the Beveridge Report. Welfare Today”.

One of the Working Groups of ISCOP is EFFE, the Ethical Forum on Force Employment, coordinated by Gen. D.A. Giancarlo Naldi.

The Institute is also a contributing member of the Italian American Educators Association (AIAE).
In collaboration with AIAE, each year the Institute offers a course on ‘Economics, Institutions, and Culture in
contemporary Italy’, to those American graduates of Italian descent, who, through a selective process, are awarded this fellowship.
The ‘Bridge Program’ aims to broaden the Italian-American students’ awareness and
understanding of Italy’s institutional and socioeconomic reality. Other contributors of this program include:
The Italian Federation of The Knights of Labor, the newspaper America Oggi, as well as Turin’s Chamber of Commerce. This course has been awarded a silver medal by the President of the Italian Republic.
ISCOP is in partnership with the Athens Olympian Foundation, the Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation, Cracow Academy of Economics.
