In July the course 'Contemporary Italy: institutions, politics, and economics' which is in its sixth
edition, has been realized. The course is addressed to those American graduates of Italian descent, who have been selected through a public competition and underwent attitudinal testing.
The course, is organized every year by the ISCOP, The Higher Institute for Communication and Public Opinion, the AIAE, the Association of Italian American Educators, and the National Federation of the Job Leaders, a member of the ISCOP-AIAE. The 'Bridge Program,' aims at bringing Italo-American graduates closer to the institutional and socio-economic reality of our country.
The course has received the support of the President of the Senate, of the Governor of New York State, of the City Council in Rome, the Turin Chamber of Commerce, and of the
newspaper America Oggi. The course has also received the silver medal: 'The prize of the Italian President'.
